Committee on Conscience

The Commitee on Conscience is an independent student led organization which is composed entirely of middle school students from St. Francis of Assisi catholic school in Louisville. It is focused on the promotion of social justice and peace. Students raise awareness by educating the public about regions in their local and global communities which are affected by suffering. The Commitee on Conscience (C.O.C.) also addresses needs directly by gathering materials and money for charitable giving and by performing service work by engaging with those who are vulnerable.

World Fest Booth a Huge Success!

As one of our fundraisers this year, we participated in World Fest; a multicultural event held at the Belvedere in Downtown Louisville where businesses, civic groups, and non-profit organizations sell food and crafts or raise awareness for their group. The Committee on Conscience's booth was a huge success! We raised almost two thousand dollars selling our own middle eastern lemonade, snow cones, popcorn, cookies, and brownies.
