Peace Families

Peace Families is a program in our school in which the students participate in three different programs. These programs are Compassionate Listening, Mindful Interconectedness, and Service. In Compassionate Listening, students learn how to listen with all of their heart and attention, so that anyone who has a story to tell or advice to give knows that they are not wasting their time. In Mindful Interconnectedness, students connect with their body and soul through a yoga program. In Service, students visit a local nursing home to visit with the residents and make an effort to connect with those outside of their comfort zones.
